Help
The category corresponds to a dog show's difficulty level.

A show is made up of different events. Each event has its own level of difficulty. The total of all event difficulties in a show will give the overall difficulty of the show, and thus its category.

Only dogs that have this category in this type of show will be able to participate. In other words, the more a category increases, the higher level the dogs must have to register in it.

Each type of dog shows puts into play one or several of your dog's specialties: speed, agility, training, etc. This is indicated on the page for each type of show.

Your dog's category for a type of shows is determined simply by its level in the specialties in question.

However, do note: if a type of shows takes several of your dog's specialties into account, they will not all necessarily be weighted in the same way to calculate your dog's category. One speciality may be weighted two or three times more than another, for example.

Each show's category depends on the difficulty of the events that make up the show. The more difficult they are, the higher the category of the show will be.

Your dog can only participate in dog shows corresponding to its category in each type of shows, as to avoid dogs with mixed levels competing against one another in a show.

Your dog's category for each type of shows is updated in real time when you play with it. Consequently, the more you progress your dog and increase its level in its specialities for a certain type of shows, the more its category in this type of shows will increase as well.

3 specialities come into play, for example Agility dog shows: agility, training and speed.

The weighted average that the dog has in these 3 specialities defines the dog's category concerning Agility contests.

First of all, you must improve agility to move quickly up this category.

The results of the dogs in the dog shows are determined by:

- the dog's level in the specialty or specialities that are taken into consideration in this type of dog show (the level that could increase due to participation in the show, depending on the dog's place);
- the dog's state (health and/or strength, mood, cleanliness, etc.).

You can find the detail of the specialties and other characteristics taken into account on each dog show's page. The better these are, the better your dog's results will be.

Last but not least, hazard is also part of the shows, which gives them charm and originality! Hazard will always play a somewhat important role in the results.
