The Belgian Malinois - also called the Belgian Shepherd Dog Malinois - is a dog breed which is one of the four varieties of Belgian shepherd dogs.
The Belgian Malinois is a medium sized dog. Malinois dogs are around 24 to 26 inches tall and weigh around 65 to 75 pounds. Belgian Malinois have an athletic body which comes to them from running and endurance activities. They set themselves apart with their supple and flowing movements as well as light and quick actions which gives them a light trot when they walk. They are squarely built and their chest hairs reach their legs. Their triangular ears are black, erect and close together, attached to the top of the head. Their black muzzle is long, half the length of the head. They have strong teeth that are particularly white. Their lips are thin and black. Their coat is fawn colored.
